Itinerary
After breakfast at your hotel, your safari adventure officially begins. You’ll depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem known for its towering baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and massive elephant population. It’s a haven for photographers and nature lovers alike.
You’ll spend the day exploring the park on a game drive, watching herds of elephants wander through the ancient baobab groves, and spotting lions, wildebeest, impala, and an incredible variety of birdlife.
Set in a picturesque location at karatu, this lodge offers panoramic views, excellent service, and a serene atmosphere for your first night immersed in the wild.
Dinner and overnight: Heart and soul lodge
This morning, you’ll leave Tarangire behind and journey westward toward the legendary Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. You'll travel through the Ngorongoro Highlands and enter Serengeti via the Naabi Hill Gate, where the endless plains unfold before your eyes.
Upon entering the Serengeti via the Naabi Hill Gate, the landscape transforms into vast, sweeping savannahs teeming with wildlife. This is Serengeti Central, also known as the Seronera Valley, famed for its dense concentrations of wildlife year-round. As you traverse the plains, you may encounter herds of zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and prides of lions basking in the sun.
After a scenic game drive en route, you will arrive at Golden safari Camp, nestled in a private area of the central Serengeti. This intimate, eco-friendly camp offers a unique opportunity to sleep under the stars, surrounded by the nocturnal sounds of Africa. Enjoy a hearty dinner and relax beside the campfire as your guide briefs you about the next day’s adventure.
Accommodation: Golden Safari Camp
After breakfast, begin another full day game drive, taking a different route for varied scenery and game sightings. This is another excellent day for spotting wildlife, as animals are often active in the morning hours.
You’ll stop along the way for photos, picnics, and to take in the vast, ever-changing scenery of the Serengeti. Arrive at Golden safari camp in the afternoon and enjoy a relaxing evening in familiar yet still thrilling surroundings.
The central region is well-known for its year-round predator population, so don’t be surprised if you spot lions lounging near camp or hear hyenas calling at night.

After a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, exit the park and head toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to one of the world’s most spectacular natural wonders—the Ngorongoro Crater. On your way, pass by traditional Maasai villages and breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley. By midday or early afternoon, you’ll reach the crater rim and descend into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera.
The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, often referred to as "Africa’s Eden," offering a rich concentration of wildlife in a relatively small area. Within the crater’s 20-kilometer diameter lies an abundance of animals: black rhinos, elephants, hippos, flamingos, lions, and more.
After your crater exploration, continue to Gibb’s Farm, a tranquil retreat on the outer slopes of the Ngorongoro Highlands. This historic coffee estate offers luxurious comfort, lush gardens, and panoramic views. Enjoy a farm-to-table dinner and unwind in one of Tanzania’s most charming lodges.

Today offers a profound cultural exchange. Drive to Lake Eyasi to visit the Hadzabe people, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa. You’ll have the rare opportunity to participate in a traditional morning hunt, learn about their language (rich in clicks), and observe their survival techniques passed down for generations.
Later, visit the Datoga tribe, known for their blacksmithing skills, and see how they forge tools and jewelry using primitive but effective methods.
Afterward, visiting the Maasai people, famous for their traditional lifestyle. Your visit will provide insight into their customs, including their iconic beadwork, ceremonies, and distinctive clothing. Finish the day with a walking tour around a nearby village. This is a perfect opportunity to experience everyday life in Tanzania, interact with locals, and explore traditional homes and markets.
After a full day of cultural and nature-based activities, return to Heart and soul Lodge for a hearty dinner and a restful night in the serene atmosphere of the lodge.
Dinner and Overnight: Heart and soul Lodge
After an early breakfast, you’ll head to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its lush groundwater forests, tree-climbing lions, and flocks of pink flamingos that decorate the lake’s shoreline.
This park offers a completely different experience with its diverse birdlife, dramatic escarpment views, and frequent sightings of elephants and baboons. After a rewarding game drive and a relaxing lakeside picnic lunch, you’ll begin your journey back to Arusha.
Depending on your departure time, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Arusha for your onward travel.
